B4017 Bath Street (Abingdon) - Proposed Parking Restriction and Advisory Cycle Lane (re-consultation)
Following an earlier consultation carried out in December 2018 and the expiration of the statutory 2-year period in which to implement the original proposals, Oxfordshire County Council proposes to extend the existing 'No Waiting at Any Time' parking restrictions, on the east side of Bath Street, north of Stratton Way, for a distance of 54 metres and also introduce an advisory cycle lane. This is in response to cyclist safety concerns raised by the Parish Council, helping to improve the safety and amenity of pedal cyclists in the area.
Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref:JaC.12.6.100) to the address below by 12 March 2021. The Council will consider objections and other representations received in response and may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Councils Cabinet meeting in March/April, 2021. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Councils website about a week before the meeting.
