Bicester Road (Bicester - Launton) - Proposed No Right Turn ban

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce a prohibition of right turn onto Bicester Road from the new access road to the allotments, located approximately 46 metres south of its roundabout junction with the A4421, ensuring that exiting vehicles turn left only towards the nearby roundabout.

The proposals are being put forward for road safety reasons. This work forms part of the East West Rail (Western Section) Phase 2 development works.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: JaC/12.6.129) to the address below by 18 June 2021. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting in July 2021. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
