Greenwood Avenue (Chinnor) Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce parking restrictions on the south-eastern side of Greenwood Avenue in Chinnor, southwest of Glimbers Grove. The proposals ares being put forward in response to the construction of a new access road to the adjacent residential development. Specifically, the proposals comprise of the following measures:

  • introduce a ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ (double yellow lines) parking prohibition on the southeast side of Greenwood Avenue for 43 metres either side of the new access road (86 metres in total), covering the approximate frontages of Nos.9 to 25.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.165) to the address below by 30 April 2021. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2021 (the Forward Plan of decisions meetings can be viewed here). The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
