Access to Headington - The Slade (Oxford) Proposed Parking Restrictions RECONSULTATION

Following on from an earlier decision approved at the Cabinet Members Decision meeting in June 2016 (for details: click here) Oxfordshire County Council is now proposing to formalise the making of the order following the expiration of the two year period in which to complete the process.

This matter relates to the continuing `Access to Headington` road works in respect of improving the through flow of traffic and access to amenities and have not changed from the scheme previously approved. The effect of the order is to amend waiting restrictions in The Slade, to Prohibit Waiting at any Time (double yellow lines) for its entire length on both sides, with exemptions for loading and access to properties.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email, or in writing (quoting ref: AK/12.6.320/Slade) to the address below by 20 April 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting in Oxford on Thursday 10 May 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.

This consultation has now closed.
