A4095 Burford Road (Witney) Proposed Traffic Island Build-out

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to construct the following feature to help improve pedestrian safety on the A4095 Burford Road in Witney in light of residential development in the area:

  • A Kerbed traffic island build-out (approx. 7m long by 2.4m wide):
    • on the northern side of Burford Road, approx. 30 metres west of its junction with Moor Avenue, within the existing parking lay-by.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire or by writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.410) to the address below by 06 October 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2017 or early 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
