Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the following changes on the A4165 Banbury Road in the Summertown area of Oxford:

  • to install a Puffin Crossing on Banbury Road approximately 10 metres north of its junction with Hernes Road,
  • to introduce a No Right Turn* restriction for traffic exiting Hernes Road onto A4165 Banbury Road.

*The proposed turn restriction is being proposed on safety grounds due to the proximity of the crossing to the Hernes Road junction..

The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
