Ashhurst Way (Oxford) Proposed Zebra Crossing
Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make changes on Ashhurst Way in Oxford to help improve pedestrian (especially the more vulnerable road-users) safety in the immediate vicinity of Rose Hill Primary School. Specifically, the changes comprise of the following:
- Construction of a Zebra Crossing - a controlled crossing for use by pedestrians only, to be located on Ashhurst Way approx 30* metres southwest of the junction with Lambourn Road.
* all dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.
Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.320) to the address below by 08 January 2021. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting early in 2021 (the Forward Plan of decisions meetings can be viewed here). The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
