B4020 Shilton Road (Carterton) Proposed 30mph Speed Limit

Ends: 14 Jul 2017

Following on from an earlier consultation in 2015 (for changes to the 30mph & 40mph Speed Limits) and the resulting expiration of the 2 year period from which this was undertaken - Oxfordshire County Council now proposes to make the following changes in response to the development of land adjacent to the B4020 Shilton Road, leading northwards out of Carterton:

  • to extend the 30mph speed limit on the B4020 Shilton Road northwards by 140 metres.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.151/340) to the address below or by completing the online questionnaire by 14 July 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2017. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting
