B4027 Station Road (Bletchingdon) Proposed 30mph Speed Limit

Following on from an earlier consultation carried out in July 2017 (for details click here) and due to the expiration of the 2-year period in which to implement the changes, Oxfordshire County Council is re-consulting on proposals to extend the existing 30mph speed limit leading westwards out of the village. The proposals are being put forward in response to the development of land adjacent, and specifically comprise of the following:

  • to extend the 30mph speed limit on the B4027 Station Road westwardswards by 60 metres, reducing the existing 60mph National speed limit by the same amount.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.151/134) to the address below by 03 July 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
