B4044 West Way (Botley, North Hinksey) Proposed Puffin Crossing

The County Council is consulting on a proposal to introduce a new Puffin crossing (a signalled pedestrian crossing) on the B4044 West Way in Botley, North Hinksey. The new crossing will replace the existing pelican crossing at this location, with the layout also being amended to remove the existing stagger between the crossings:

The crossing is proposed to be centered at the following location:

  • B4044 West Way - approx. 20 metres north east of its junction with Poplar Road.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.311) to the address below by 16 February 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
