B4495 Marston Ferry Road (Oxford) Proposed 30mph Speed Limit

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to extend the existing 30mph speed limit on the B4495 Marston Ferry Road. The proposals are being put forward for road safety reasons in response to the development of the Swan School site adjacent to the road, including the construction of a new access junction - ensuring the safety of traffic entering & leaving the B4495 from the site:

  • B4485 Marston Ferry Road - extend the 30mph (restricted road) speed limit - in place of the current 40mph - towards north Oxford, a point 420 metres northwest of Oxford Road in Old Marston.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.320) to the address below by 27 April 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2019. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
