Various Roads (Didcot) - Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restrictions, on various roads in Didcot. This is in response to road safety concerns that have been raised due to dangerous and obstructive parking.

Blake's Field - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Foxhall Road for a distance of 18 metres.

Brasenose Road - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Foxhall Road for a distance of 27 metres.

Lydalls Close - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Foxhall Road for a distance of 25 metres.

Manor Road - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Foxhall Road for a distance of 28 metres.

Manor Crescent - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Foxhall Road for a distance of 64 metres, except for an area on the south side of the road, 16 metres from its junction with Foxhall Road for an approximate distance of 10 metres.

Evenlode Drive - extend the 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on the west side of the road to a point 36 metres from its junction with Cow Lane.

Tyne Avenue - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Cow Lane for a distance of 21 metres.

Cow Lane - extend the 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road between Tyne Avenue and Longford Way, except on the west side where there will be two lengths of 'No Waiting' Monday to Saturday, Noon to 13:00.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: JaC.12.6.189) to the address below by 10 January 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council's Cabinet meeting early in 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council's website a week before the meeting.
