B4022 Banbury Road & B4030 (Enstone) Proposed 40mph Speed Limits

Ends: 27 Apr 2018

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce a 40mph speed limit on two roads within Enstone village in place of the current 60mph National Speed Limit; this is in response to the raising of road safety concerns by the local Parish Council:

  • on the B4022 Banbury Road - from the terminal point of the 30mph speed limit north of Cleveley Road northwards to a point 50 metres north of the B4030, and
  • on the B4030 - from the 30mph speed limit east of the unnamed road to Little Tew, eastwards for 300 metres.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.202) to the address below by 27 April 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
