Great Western Park Southern Neighbourhood (Didcot/Harwell) Proposed 20mph & 30mph Speed Limits

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to implement a 20mph Zone along with numerous associated traffic calming measures throughout the Southern Neighbourhood. This will ensure consistency with the Northern & District neighbourhoods, as well as aiding road safety for residents, especially the more vulnerable road users. Specifically, the changes comprise of the following:

  • 20mph Speed Limit Zone on all roads within the Southern Neighbourhood of the Great Western Park development, and
  • 30mph Speed Limit on the roads served by Larch Drive from its junction with Diamond Drive.

The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
