Grove Meadows Estate Roads (Grove) Proposed 30mph Speed Limit RECONSULTATION

Following an earlier consultation carried out in November/December 2016 (for details click here) regarding the proposal to introduce a 30mph speed limit on the new estate roads to the west of the A338 Station Road (opposite Tulwick Lane), Oxfordshire County Council is now re-consulting on the proposals due to the expiration of the statutory 2-year period in which to complete the works.

The proposals have not changed since originally published, and involve the introduction of a 30mph limit on the new residential roads on the Grove Meadows estate to the west of the A338 Station Road at Grove west of the Kingside junction with Oxford Lane, specifically including:

  •  Kingside, Rooks End, Castle Piece, Knights Green, Queens Row and Bishops Way.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.235) to the address below by 26 April 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2019. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.

This consultation has now closed.
