Hawksmoor Road (Oxford) Proposed Electric Vehicle Parking Bay

Following an earlier consultation carried out in February 2017 (for details click here) regarding an electric vehicle parking bay to be placed on the northern side at the eastern end of Hawksmoor Road.

Oxfordshire County Council is now proposing to designate an alternative parking place, restricting its use for electric vehicles only, which are connected to and using charging equipment located adjacent to the parking place on the highway at the following location:

  • Hawksmoor Road (North Summertown) - on the north side 5.5 metres east of the western end for a length of 5 metres.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.320) to the address below by 08 June 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.

Please read the information provided on this consultation. Your views and opinions matter. Please take the time to respond.
