Kingsmere Estate (Bicester) Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce new lengths of parking restrictions on sections of road within the Kingsmere residential development in south-west Bicester. They are being proposed in response to reported concerns over parked vehicles obstructing the visibility of traffic at junctions, and restricting the passage of traffic:

'No waiting at any time' (double-yellow lines):

  • Pioneer Way - both sides for its entire length,
  • Whitelands Way - both sides, from its northern junction with Hexham Road north-east and north-westwards to a point 345 metres northwest of its junction with Pioneer Way.
  • Hexham Road - both side for its entire length, including the spur that leads in a south westerly direction to its southern junction with Whitelands Way,

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email, or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.129) to the address below by 06 April 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
