Armstrong Road (Littlemore, Oxford) Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to extend existing & also introduce new sections of parking prohibitions along Armstrong Road in Littlemore, Oxford. The proposals are to help facilitate the safe & unrestricted movement of traffic in light of the adjacent residential development. Specifically, the changes comprise of the following proposals:

To extend existing, & introduce new sections of ‘ ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ parking restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) along both sides of Armstrong Road in Littlemore as follows:

  • On the North side:
    1. extend the prohibition to cover either side of the junction with Mandelbrote Drive
    2. introduce new sections of 58 metres and 42 metres length, at points eastwards & northeastwards of the junction.
  • On the South side:
    1. extend the existing restrictions eastwards from Sandford Road by 203 metres, and
    2. introduce a new 18 metre section at the northeast end.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.320) to the address below by 20 November 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2020 or early in 2021. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
