Middleton Stoney Road (Bicester) Proposed Puffin Crossing

The County Council is consulting on a proposal to introduce a new Puffin crossing (a signalled pedestrian crossing) on Middleton Stoney Road in Bicester. The crossing will assist people wishing to access the new housing development & help improve pedestrian safety in the area:.

The crossing is proposed to be centered at the following location:

  • Middleton Stoney Road - approx. 38 metres west of its roundabout junction with Newton Close.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.129) to the address below or by completing the online questionnaire by 10 November 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2017 or early in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
