Minerals and Waste Local Plan - Additional Site Nominations Consultation

Oxfordshire County Council is preparing the Oxfordshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan, comprising two parts: Part 1 – Core Strategy; and Part 2 – Site Allocations (Sites Plan). Together these will guide all future Minerals and Waste Development within Oxfordshire. The Core Strategy was adopted by the County Council in 2017 and the preparation of the Sites Plan is now underway.

We are currently consulting on the Draft Sites Plan which can also be found on the Oxfordshire County Council Portal and through the link below.

In addition, we have had a further two sites submitted for possible inclusion within the Plan. We need to consult on these sites and undertake Site Assessments, therefore please see the Additional Nominated Sites 2020 document, now also on consultation.  These sites are:

  • Site 291: Bradfield Grove Farm, Grove, Wantage.
  • Site CR25: Shipton on Cherwell SW Extension

Please read the Minerals and Waste Local Plan-  Additional Sites Nomination Document which can be found below and at  Minerals and Waste Local Plan: Part 2 before you complete this form.

This form contains all the questions within the Additional Sites Nomination consultation document, which should be read alongside it. The time required to complete it will vary depending on your interest in the Site Allocations Plan ane the two sites nominatied.

Comments must be received by 4.00pm on Wednesday 4th March 2020

Please note no decisions on these two sites have been taken at this time, nor have any assessments been made. These two sites are not contained within the Draft Plan at this stage. Following this consultation, we will review and consider all the responses recieved, in the preparation of the submission draft of the Site Allocations Plan

Alternative formats of this publication can be made available on request. These include other languages, large print, Braille, audio cassette, compute disk or e-mail.

At the end of the document we ask for further details to enable us to understand what stakeholders have responded to the consultation.

To view the consultation document and the other documents referred to throughout this questionnaire please see the documents section.

The comments received will be used to inform the preparation of a Submission version of the Sites Plan that is due to be published in the Autumn 2020.  Click here to find out the latest information on the Oxfordshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan
