Mill Street (Islip) Proposed One-Way Traffic Restriction

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce a one-way restriction on Mill Street in Islip in the vicinity of the river bridge. The proposals are being put forward as a result of a proposal to introduce traffic signal control on the B4027 at Islip Bridge including the crossroads junction of the B4027 Kings Head Walk / Wheatley Road with Mill Street, Lower Street. Specifically, the changes comprise of the following proposals:

  • To introduce a One-Way traffic system in part of Mill Street in the direction (east to west) from Kings Head Lane to The Walk.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: AK/12.6.260) to the address below by 04 December 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2020 or early in 2021. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
