Milton Road (Sutton Courtenay) Proposed Shared-Use Cycle Track

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make changes to a section of footpath in Milton Road, Sutton Courtenay. The proposals are being put forward to help improve pedal cyclist safety in the area, and to provide access for cyclists from Milton Road to Footpath 299/1/10 following planned improvements for cycle use, and specifically consist of the following:

  • Convert to Shared-use Pedestrian & Cycle Track
    • Milton Road (south side) approximately 15 metres west of the junction with Spring Field Way - a 10 metre section of footway at the junction with ‘Footpath 299/1/10’ leading southwards to the Milton Park Estate.

* All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email, or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.373) to the address below by 03 July 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections are planned be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting
