Murcott Road (Upper Arncott) Proposed Traffic Calming Build-out

Ends: 08 Sep 2017

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to construct the following feature for road safety reasons on Murcott Road, at the south-western end of Upper Arncott:

  • A 'kerbed build-out priority' traffic calming feature:
    • on the western side of Murcott Road, approx. 20 metres south-west of its junction with The Village Close (approximately 10m long) which will narrow the carriageway to a single lane, with priority being given to traffic travelling south-westwards out of Upper Arncott.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire or by writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.110) to the address below by 8 September 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2017 or early 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
