High Street & Watlington Street (Nettlebed) Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the following changes to parking and waiting restrictions within Nettlebed in response to concerns raised by the Parish Council over obstruction to through traffic and to the safety of road users and pedestrians in the vicinity:

  • No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow lines) will be added in :
    • High Street (south side): from the western boundary of Nettlebed House, westwards for 75 metres, and in
    • Watlington Street (both Sides):
      • (a) from the junction of High Street, northwards for a distance of 22 metres, and
      • (b) from a point 75 metres north of High Street, north-eastwards for a distance of 105 metres

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire or by writing (quoting ref: AK/12.6.316) to the address below by 11 August 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2017. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
