Oxford (Citywide) Proposed Parking Permits for OCC Carers

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to issue parking permits to allow vehicles used by carers while on duty, to park in any designated permit parking places in the controlled parking zones in the city during their domiciliary visits. The effect of the proposal is:

  • to enable non-NHS carers (appropriately qualified) employed by Private Care Organisations that are contracted to Oxfordshire County Council, to park in parking places reserved for permit holders, during the course of domiciliary care and/or health and welfare visits .

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email, or in writing (quoting ref: AK/12.6.320/CarerPermits) to the address below by 03 August 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
