Various Roads (Oxford) Parking Permit Eligibility Amendments - Jan20

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to alter the current Controlled Parking Zone Traffic Regulation Orders by amending the eligibility for occupants and residents of the new developments to obtain residents or visitors parking permits. These proposals are being put forward in response to the planning permissions have been granted for residential units on the basis that these should not be occupied until a Traffic Regulation Order has been changed to confirms this. It is therefore proposed:

  • to exclude the following properties from availability to apply for Residents Parking Permits in accordance with planning permissions:
Divinity Road area Nos.14 & 16 Tawney Street
Headington Central area

Nos.77A to 81A inclusive London Road

Headington West (A) area No.142 Headley Way
North Summertown area (6 apartments at) 53 Sunderland Avenue

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email, or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.320) to the address below by 07 February 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
