Oxford Zero Emission Zone - Feasibility Study

Oxfordshire County Council is informally consulting on proposals to introduce a Zero Emission Zone (ZEZ) within Oxford City.

This webpage provides details of what we are consulting on and how you can give us your views. Further information on the study that was undertaken to inform the next steps for a ZEZ, can be found through in the Oxford ZEZ Feasibility Study.

A summary booklet of the consultation is available here.

What is being consulted on?

The ambition for a Zero Emission Zone within the centre of Oxford is set out in the Oxfordshire Local Transport Plan 4 (Oxford Transport Study) and is being taken forward jointly by Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council.

The Oxford ZEZ Feasibility and Implementation study helped to inform the scheme option that both councils are taking forward for further assessment.

We are now seeking comments on the impact the implementation of the ZEZ will have on residents and businesses as well as understand any impacts the ZEZ may have that have not yet been considered.

A map setting out the proposed boundaries of the Zero Emission Zone is available here.

Please give us your views

Please give us your views on the proposed option by filling in our questionnaire or by responding directly to LTS.Team@oxfordshire.gov.uk by Sunday 26 November 2017. Officers will consider comments made to inform the next stage of ZEZ implementation.

Respond to the consultation by filling in our questionnaire here.
