Reading Road (Wallingford) Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to alter the existing parking restrictions along Reading Road in Wallingford. These proposals are being put forward as a result of the development of the adjacent Winterbrook site:

  • Reading Road - extending the existing Double Yellow Lines to approx 300 metres south of St Johns Road. The restriction will then continue 20 metres into the new junction.

As part of the Winterbrook development a new access junction into the development is being constructed on the east side and the aim is to prevent potentially dangerous parking at that point.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email, or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.390) to the address below by 19 April 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2019. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting
