Rymers Lane & Cornwallis Road (Oxford) Proposed Junction Traffic Calming
Oxfordshire County Council proposes to construct the following feature to help improve road safety for local residents at the junction of Rymers Lane & Cornwallis Road in the Florence Park area of Oxford. Specifically, the proposals comprise of the following:
- A Raised Junction Table – to be located at the crossroads junction of, Rymers Lane, Littlehay Road and Cornwallis Road:
- Extending approx. 12m into each road from the centre of the junction, with approach ramps being 1m* long and 75mm high (gradient of 1:12)
- ‘Reboundable’ bollards in white with red/white reflectors will be positioned on each corner of the junction.
Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire or by writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.320) to the address below by 30 August 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2019. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
