Review of School Health Nursing - Parents' and Professionals' survey

The health and wellbeing of young people is of vital importance and has an impact on their capacity to learn and thrive.

  • School health nurses work in and around schools across Oxfordshire
  • College nurses work in further education colleges in Oxfordshire

All nurses provide information, advice and support for young people on topics such as mental wellbeing, healthy lifestyles and sexual health. As well universal health promotion, nurses also provide drop-in sessions for one to one support with young people. They work alongside several other partners including teachers, GPs, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), sexual health services and substance misuse services (Aquarius).

We would like to gather information on your experiences of the school and college health nursing services for the future, to ensure that they remain as relevant to the needs of young people as possible. We would also like to hear your views on how the service can work better for all those who support the health and wellbeing of young people. Please help us by clicking on the link below and completing the questionnaire.
