Various Roads (South Oxon & Vale of White Horse) Proposed Disabled Persons Parking Places

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to provide additional Disabled Persons Parking Places (and also remove one no longer required) in various towns situated within the southern districts of the County, the proposals are being put forward in response to increased local demand:

Vale of White Horse:

Abingdon Bostock Road * North side, 32 metres east of Victoria Road, replacing 6.6 metres of a single yellow line
Parsons Mead North side outside No.62
Turner Road East side, 18 metres south of Gainsborough Green for 20 metres in the layby
Faringdon Palmer Road East side outside No.10
Grove White Horse Crescent South Side, from a point 2 metres west of boundary of Nos.43/44, westwards for 6.6 metres
Wantage Grove Street Northwest side outside number 29
Naldertown West side outside number 62.
 * parking is amended to reduce a section of `No Waiting 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Saturday`


Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM.12.6.DPPP/S&V) to the address below by 13 July 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
