Station Road (Kingham to Bledington) Proposed 30mph Speed Limit & Road Narrowing

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the following changes on the B4450 Kingham to Bledington road for protection of the aging Chipping Bridge near Mill Farm:

  • to introduce a 30mph speed limit as follows:
    • on Chipping Bridge, Station Road from Kingham to Bledington for a total length of approx. 75 metres

The proposed speed limit reduction will also be accompanied by width reduction and traffic prioritising measures, the details of which are also subject to consultation.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire or by writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.268) to the address below by 08 December 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting early in 2018. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
