Various Roads (Oxford) - Proposed Parking Restrictions

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restrictions, on various roads in Oxford. This is in response to road safety concerns that have been raised due to dangerous and obstructive parking.

Don Bosco Close - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on the northeast side from Junction Road for a distance of 16 metres and from a point 27 metres from Junction Road to the kerbline of that section of the close containing No's 34 to 47. On the southwest side from Junction Road for a distance of 35 metres.

Kirby Place - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on the south side of the road from its junction with Temple Road to No. 7 and on the north side from its juction with Temple Road for a distance of 6 metres.

Sher Afzal Close (the old Temple Cowley Pool site) - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road from its junction with Temple Road for its full length.

The Oval - introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restriction on both sides of the road, around the roundabout, except for the layby on the west side. 

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: JaC.12.6.320) to the address below by 28 February 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council's Cabinet meeting in March 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council's website a week before the meeting.
