Unnamed Road leading to the Waterperry Estate (Waterperry) Proposed 20mph Speed Limit

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to reduce the speed limit on the unnamed road leading to the Waterperry Estate within the parish of Waterperry. This is for road safety reasons in response to concerns raised by the Parish Council, specifically the proposals will:

  • reduce the existing 30mph speed limit to 20mph - from a point 5 metres southeast of its junction with the Worminghall to Wheatley Road, south-eastwards for a total distance of 650 metres.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: CM/12.6.395) to the address below by 14 February 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting later in 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.

This consultation has now closed and feedback is available.
