Review of subsidised bus services in the Witney, Woodstock and Chipping Norton areas

Many bus services in the Witney, Woodstock and Chipping Norton areas are currently under review (along with one or two others operating elsewhere in Oxfordshire) as the contracts to run them will expire at the end of May 2014. Please use the 'Consultation Documents' link below to access a list of the services under review and a list of towns and villages affected.

You can respond to this consultation in several ways:

If services are not listed they are either operated commercially (i.e without subsidy), or are included in another review area (e.g service 488 from Chipping Norton to Banbury, which was reviewed in 2013 during the Banbury and Bicester area review).

    This is the timetable for Northamptonshire County Council subsidised service 8, which links several Oxfordshire villages with Bicester and Brackley. Northamptonshire's contract for this service (toward which Oxfordshire contributes) ends in September 2014.
  • Timetable: service 98 (Didcot to Great Western Park)
    This is the timetable for service 98, the contract for which is under review due to changes in the road network at Great Western Park which will make a 'circular' or through service achieveable.
