A415 Ducklington Lane (Witney) - Proposed 30mph Speed Limit & No Right Turn ban

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to extend the 30mph speed limit (in place of the current 40mph speed limit) by approximately 27 metres southwards and to also introduce a prohibition of right turn onto Ducklington Lane from the new development on the east side of the A415 south of the A40 overbridge, ensuring that exiting vehicles turn left only to the roundabout.

The proposals are being put forward for road safety reasons as a result of the new development.

Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing the online questionnaire, via email or in writing (quoting ref: JaC/12.6.410) to the address below by 31 December 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response and they may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Any unresolved objections will be reported to the Council’s Cabinet meeting in early 2020. The papers for the meeting will be available on the County Council’s website about a week before the meeting.
