Proposed Expansion of Hanborough Manor Church of England Primary School, Long Hanborough

Hanborough Manor CE Primary School is located in the village of Long Hanborough, in the West Oxfordshire District. It serves the villages of Long Hanborough and Church Hanborough. The school converted to an academy in 2014, joining the Eynsham Partnership Academy Trust and currently has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 30 (i.e. the school admits up to 30 children each year in to the Reception class), with a total capacity of 210.

The academy trust, working with Oxfordshire County Council, proposes to increase the school’s PAN in September 2021 from 30 to 45 on a permanent basis. This means that each year group that starts at the school from September 2021 onward would consist of up to 45 places, making a maximum total of 315 pupils in Reception to Year 6 across the whole school eventually.

The Academy Trust will consider the responses to this consultation. They may then decide to submit an application to expand the school to the Regional Schools Commissioner, who would be the decision-maker.
