Statutory Notice: Proposed Expansion of St Blaise CE Primary School, Milton

UPDATE:

On 24 April 2019, theCabinet Member for Education & Cultural Services APPROVED the proposed expansion of St Blaise CE Primary School from September 2020 with the following conditions:

  1. That, prior to 30 June 2019, the necessary land to facilitate the school’s expansion has been transferred to the County Council. 
  2. The County Council is able to let a construction contract to provide the required accommodation in time to facilitate the expansion.

 Background

Oxfordshire County Council, working with the leadership team of the school, proposes to expand St Blaise CE Primary School from 0.5 form entry (15 children per year group) to 1 form entry (30 children per year group) on a permanent basis from September 2020. This means that each year group that starts at the school from September 2020 onward would consist of up to 30 places, making a maximum total of 210 pupils in Reception to Year 6 across the whole school eventually.

This is the formal consultation (represnetation period) as required by The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013.
