  • Various Roads (Oxford) - Proposed Parking Restrictions

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' parking restrictions on various roads in Oxford. The proposals are being put forward in response to road safety concerns that have been raised due to dangerous and obstructive parking.

  • Bankside (Banbury) Proposed Parking Restrictions & Traffic Calming Measures

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to - following an earlier consultation in 2017 - introduce additional waiting restrictions along Bankside, in conjunction with the replacement of the existing traffic calming by speed cushions, and the provision of a zebra crossing in response to adjacent development.

  • Various Roads (Oxford) Development Parking Amendments

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to amend the existing parking restrictions & eligibility for occupants and residents at various developments to obtain residents or visitors parking permits. Planning permissions have been granted for residential units on the basis that these should not be occupied until a Traffic Regulation Order has been amended to confirm this.

  • King James Way (Henley-on-Thames) Proposed Parking Restrictions RECONSULTATION

    Oxfordshire County Council is proposing - following an earlier consultation carried out in July/August 2017 - to introduce new double yellow lines on King James Way as a result of the construction of a new access north of its junction with Greys Road.

  • St Thomas Street, London Place & Marston Street (Oxford) Development Parking Permit Amendments

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to amend the existing eligibility for occupants and residents at various developments to obtain residents or visitors parking permits. Planning permissions have been granted (or lapsed/no longer required) for residential units on the basis that these should not be occupied until a Traffic Regulation Order has been amended to confirm this.

  • Oxfordshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan: Part 2 Site Allocations (Sites Plan)

    Oxfordshire County Council have published the Draft Minerals and Waste Local Plan: Part 2 Site Allocations Plan (the Sites Plan) for consultation. The preparation of the Draft Sites Plan follows on from the adoption of the Minerals and Waste Core Strategy in 2017. The Core Strategy set out the vision, objectives, spatial planning strategy and policies for meeting development requirements for the supply of minerals and the management of waste in Oxfordshire over the period to 2031, and the Draft Sites Plan sets out those mineral and waste sites needed to deliver the Core Strategy.

  • Minerals and Waste Local Plan - Additional Site Nominations Consultation

    Oxfordshire County Council is preparing the Oxfordshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan, comprising two parts: Part 1 Core Strategy; and Part 2 Site Allocations. Together these will guide all future Minerals and Waste Development within Oxfordshire. The Core Strategy was adopted by the County Council in 2017 and the preparation of the Site Allocations Plan (Sites Plan) is now underway. The Core Strategy set out the vision, objectives, spatial planning strategy and policies for meeting development requirements for the supply of minerals and the management of waste in Oxfordshire over the period to 2031, and the Sites Plan sets out those mineral and waste sites needed to deliver the Core Strategy. The Draft Sites Plan is currently subject to consultation. In addition we have had a further two sites submitted for possible inclusion within the Plan.   • Abingdon, Henley-on-Thames, Oxford & Wallingford - Proposed Amendment to Parking Charges

    Oxfordshire County Council is proposing to increase the fees for permits for residents parking schemes in Abingdon, Henley and Oxford in line with Index Linking. The fees for residents parking permits have not been increased since 2015.
