Oxfordshire County Council proposes to extend the 30mph limit (in place of the existing 40mph speed limit) on the A361 Southam Road northwards to the roundabout junction with the A422 Hennef Way. This is as a result of the further development of land adjacent to the A361.

In March 2010 Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) decided to install a lockable gate at the entrance to Hinton Waldrist Bridleway 9 which leads from Duxford to the ford in order to prevent the use of that bridleway by vehicular traffic and safeguard the public. OCC is currently seeking the views of anyone who is familiar with Bridleway 9 and/or has knowledge of how it is used in order to reach a view as to whether it is necessary to retain the gate for safety purposes.
