  • Pidnell Bridge - A4095 Radcot Road (Radcot) Weight Limit Revocation

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to remove the existing weight limit over Pidnell Bridge on the A4095 Radcot Road. The proposals are being put forward following works to the bridge, which has now been strengthened sufficiently.

  • Unnamed Road leading to the Waterperry Estate (Waterperry) Proposed 20mph Speed Limit

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the road leading to the Waterperry Estate in Waterperry for road safety reasons. This is following concerns raised by the Parish Council.

  • Didcot Road (Long Wittenham) - Proposed Zebra Crossing & Traffic Calming

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to introduce a Zebra Crossing and relocate the existing Traffic Calming feature on Didcot Road. These proposals are being put forward to help improve road safety in the vicinity of the new development.

  • 2020 Questionnaire for Children and Young People in Oxfordshire - please tell us how supported you feel by the services you use?

    Following last year’s 2019 Be Supported Questionnaire, VOXY (Voice of Oxfordshire's Youth) and the Children’s Trust Board would again like feedback from all children and young people in Oxfordshire, aged 8 - 18 and up to 25 with additional needs, about how supported they feel by the services they use. (Services include: schools/colleges, youth clubs, social workers, job clubs, health services etc - but could be any services that provide help and support, or affect your life in some way.)

  • Proposed Expansion of Radley Church of England Primary School

    Oxfordshire County Council is running an initial consultation relating to its proposal to expand Radley Church of England Primary School to 1 form of entry. Working with the leadership team of the school, Oxfordshire County Council proposes to increase Radley CE Primary School's admission number in September 2021 from 15 to 30 on a permanent basis.

  • Tramway Road Accessibility Improvements

    The County Council has been considering a bus route through Tramway Road to the station over many years. The objective is to improve access to the station, bus journey reliability into the town from southern areas of town and to remove trips from the heavily congested A4260/Bridge Street. The Tramway Road Scheme will deliver a new bus and taxi two-way link past the railway station and into the town centre. A new access to Network Rail West Car Park including vehicle activated capacity signs and improvements to the pedestrian access are also part of the proposed works. Oxfordshire County Council are holding a public exhibition at Banbury Town Hall on 16th January 2020 to present the proposed scheme to gain your views and insights on the plans on our Feasibility Design work. All public correspondences will then be analysed to understand the general public consensus towards the scheme which will in turn inform our next steps.

  • Various Roads (Oxford) Parking Permit Eligibility Amendments - Jan20

    Oxfordshire County Council proposes to amend the eligibility for occupants and residents at various developments to obtain residents or visitors parking permits. Planning permissions have been granted for residential units on the basis that these should not be occupied until a Traffic Regulation Order has been amended to confirm this.
